For the measurements commercially available self-supporting thin silicon\u2013nitride films and a HPGe gamma-detector were used which are readily available in most accelerator laboratories. Based on our measurement and on the assessment of literature data, the following resonance energies and widths are recommended: 3100.6\u00a0\u00b1\u00a00.9\u00a0keV (\u0393\u00a0=\u00a011.9\u00a0\u00b1\u00a00.4\u00a0keV) and 3338.1\u00a0\u00b1\u00a01.0\u00a0keV (\u0393\u00a0=\u00a011.0\u00a0\u00b1\u00a00.5\u00a0keV) in <sup>28<\/sup>Si(p,p\u2032\u03b3)<sup>28<\/sup>Si and 3903.1\u00a0\u00b1\u00a01.7\u00a0keV (\u0393\u00a0=\u00a098\u00a0\u00b1\u00a01\u00a0keV) and 3991.6\u00a0\u00b1\u00a01.1\u00a0keV (\u0393\u00a0=\u00a010.8\u00a0\u00b1\u00a00.5\u00a0keV) in <sup>14<\/sup>N(p,p\u2032\u03b3)<sup>14<\/sup>N.
